The Commercial Appeal has issued its endorsements for the general election season, and it has once again endorses Congressman Steve Cohen.

U.S. HOUSE DISTRICT 9: Incumbent Rep. STEVE COHEN won the August Democratic primary in impressive fashion, getting nearly 80 percent of the vote in dispensing with challengers Nikki Tinker and Joe Towns.

The landslide victory was a clear indication that voters like the way Cohen has represented them in Congress. It also was a sharp repudiation of the nasty campaign tactics used against him in the waning days of the campaign.
