Congressman Steve Cohen has received the endorsement of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund and its Planned Parenthood Federal PAC.

“You have been a strong supporter of women’s health,”wrote Cecile Richards and Brian Feldman in their endorsement letter, “and we know you will continue to be a dedicated advocate for Planned Parenthood Federation of America.”

For almost a century, Planned Parenthood health centers have provided preventive health care to millions of women, men, and young people. More than 90 percent of what Planned Parenthood health centers do nationally is life-saving cancer screenings, birth control, prevention, testing, and treatment for STDs, breast health services, pap tests, and sexual health education. One in five American women has visited a Planned Parenthood affiliate health center in her lifetime.

Congressman Cohen received a 100% from Planned Parenthood Action Fund earlier this year for his voting record and received their endorsement in 2008 and 2010.
