Congressman Steve Cohen has received a perfect score on The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights Scorecard, the only perfect score for a member of the Tennessee Congressional delegation.
“It’s an honor to be recognized by the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights for my voting record. I have been fighting for civil and human rights throughout my entire career and will continue to do so to better ensure all Americans can have a better quality of life,” Congressman Cohen said.
Founded in 1950, The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights is a coalition with a diverse membership of over 200 national organizations that promotes and protects the civil and human rights of all persons in the United States. The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights Scorecard has been printed every year since 1969 and reflects positions taken by Members of Congress on the legislative priorities of The Leadership Conference.
