Congressman Steve Cohen spoke to his supporters inside his 1460 Union Avenue Headquarters to organize a mass canvass going into the final push before the August 5th Democratic Primary.

Surrounded by supporters, Congressman Steve Cohen cast his vote at the Shelby County Election Commission this morning.

Cast your vote today! July 16-17, the Shelby County Election Commission is the only location. All other locations are open starting July 19th. Scroll down for locations and times.

Saturdays, July 24 and July 31, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Elected Officials throughout the Memphis area have come together to endorse Congressman Steve Cohen for re-election in Tennessee’s 9th Congressional District. He is joined in the video by Shelby County Sheriff candidate Randy Wade, State Senator Beverly Marrero, State Representatives Jeanne Richardson & Mike Kernell, Criminal Court Clerk/ former Shelby County Commissioner Minerva Johnican, and Memphis City Councilman/ former Mayor Pro Tempore Myron Lowery.

Also endorsing Cohen but unable to attend are: City Councilmen Shea Flinn, Jim, Strickland, and Bill Morrison; Shelby County Commissioners J.W. Gibson, James Harvey, Edith Moore, and Steve Mulroy; State Senator Ophelia Ford; and Shelby County Trustee Regina Morrison Newman.

Congressman Steve Cohen toured the Beltline area of the Jacob’s Ladder Community Development Center Corporation project. He visited the Jacob’s Ladder teen center, community garden, and domestic abuse/ transition shelter.

Congressman Steve Cohen and Cohen for Congress volunteers and interns joined with the Orange Mound Civic Organization and Clean Memphis for the Orange Mound Cleanup.

Congressman Cohen, Democratic Shelby County Sheriff Candidate Randy Wade, several ministers, businesses, volunteers, the Community Enhancement Ground Crew, the Orange Mound Development Corporation, and Airways Lamar Business Association to comb the streets collecting trash and litter.
